Well, suppose it depends on your point of view ;-)  Certainly they do not
even allow hand searching of film any longer.  I had a long and heated
discussion with a customs manager at Heathrow on one occasion after an
official letter had been published in the press written by an official who
said that hand searching film would be carried out in request.  The chap
who wrote the letter apparently "exceeded his authority" - guess it was a
career limiting move.......
