query on Konica B&W

Hi all

I have a query.. the other week I received from a member of my Photographic
club a roll of Konica Infrared 750nm B&W 135/24 film. The Dating on the box
is Feb. 1993. 

I have no clue as to how the film was stored through the years. Would room
temperature affect the film in anyway?
