Subject: ir with wide angle lenses

I have been working with 17-28 mm Vivitar for a long time on Nikon N90s, N70
and FA. I have never noticed any problems. Later I had the cahce to have a
Sigma 17-35 mm and still have not problem and a lovely lens. Wİth IR , I
shoot with 95% with the Sigma. The only side effect can be the lens holding
when using it with Sigma which has a 82mm filter diameter. I modified a Ckin
holder to fit to the view, but needs care to have the rectengular shape to
be appropraitely fixed. If the filter holder is not fixed, I have sone
vignetting. Other than that I use #89B and #87C. With these I have to filter
the space between the filter and the holder with something a light not to
enlighten the very far end of 24x36 mm. I used to it with a wide rubber, but
I know that I have to find a better way.
