Has anyone seen the movie "Stigmata"?  There's another great
misconception of infrared film's capabilities. A crying staue of Mary is
photographed to show an almost all black statue with white lines coming
from the eyes. The man who took the pics says "it was taken with
infrared film. The statue is black because it is cold. The tears appear
white because they are actually warm"
I just love Hollywood!! You'd think there would be technical advisors
for this kind of thing. Of course your average movie-goer probaly
wouldn't know any better. One more reason for Kodak (if indeed the rumor
is true) to NOT discontinue HIE!! To educate the public :)  Well, it
sounds good to me anyhow...sorry for the ramble..
