My low light technique is to increase the ISO on the light meter by 6 stops
(2^6 =64, ISO 12 becomes 800) which then gives you exposure times in
minutes rather than seconds (i.e. a reading of 1/2sec = 30secs) I have
successfully metered up to 20 minutes using this method and have not found
any need to allow for reciprocity with either TechPan or Konica IR.
Needless to say this method gets a bit tricky with faster films, depending
on how high your light meter goes.
Cheers
Ben
