I have no love for Kodak. They way over charge for film that is not for the mass market. I do mostly platinum palladium I used to use there dup film for enlarged negs the cost is now way out of line $ 125.00 for 25 sheets 8x10. There copy film whay over priced. There tec reps are not what they were back in the early 50's There b2w paper the best they stoped making. This is not the Kodak I knew when I was at R.I.T 1953. Now I will not buy Kodak Ilford has the paper and film I want and it is better in price and range than Kodak. I use Konica for Infared which is fine for my work. I WILL NOT BUY KODAK.                            James Romeo

This is probably all true, but Konica seems to feel it worthwhile to make-up  
a batch of its type of IR each Spring and, presumably, Konica is not an  
altruistic organization.  This would give Kodak a chance to go head-to-head  
with Konica for that market, adding the fillup of halation (or, perhaps,  
"partial" halation).  That would be capitalism in all its glory.
