HSI on thin base

When I saw Stan Patz' post on the Kodak test material I requested a sample.
My experience was different than his; the film curled only slightly, which
actually made it easier to slip into holders. I did see pinholes but only
two in the first four sheets(!) I filled out the questionaire and sent an
enthusiastic letter to Richard Smith indicating my desire to purchase the
product. Oh well....
May I ask those of you who are planning to stock up on HSI how you deal with
the pinholes? I have negs from the mid-70s that have just traces of tiny
holes but the current stuff makes prints that look like I sprinkled pepper on
the image. And no--its not dust on the film. Randy
