I want to point out that we should all be very careful when reading and
passing information like this.

Stan's original message refers to HSI, which is the 4x5 SHEET FILM version of
Kodak's Infrared film. That is what Kodak now states will no longer be manufactured.

The only source of information (that I recall seeing on this list) refering to
the discontinuation of HIE, the 35mm rollfilm version, was a rumor relayed by
a representative of another company. Has anyone had any indication from Kodak
that this is being considered?

So, in writing to Kodak, make sure you refer to the correct issue, e.g. that
you are very disappointed in the discontinuation of HSI and/or that you
support the continued production of HIE.
