But your lines *are* too long, whether you can change settings or 
not. And you *are* using a computer....there's more than just PC's & 
workstations....;-))
And if that causes problems with other mailers (mine has optional 
line-wrap when reading, but not when replying (Pegasus/WinPmail)), 
then the program you use is buggy. Plain and simple. 
Whether it's a significant problem is another case, but I have seen 
mails in the past with such long lines that it a) crashed my 
news-editor, and b) caused missing letters after I wrapped it.

We don't accept the buggy HTML-coding from Microsoft & Co in email 
either (I just updated the Majordomo-settings btw, neither HTML nor 
subject-headers with 'Infrared-Digest V #xxx' will pass to the list 
from now on).

I won't force you to use a different mailclient, but fact remains 
that it simply does not comply with Netiquette....it might be great, 
but definately not perfect, and the mistake is *not* with other 
people.
Sorry to be so harsh, not every gimmick is a blessing to the 
Net....;-))
