For what it's worth, I have had excellent success doing just what Willem-Jan
Markerink said. That is, setting the ASA to 8 on the spot meter and
metering with nothing over it, then putting the red filter on the camera and
exposing. This helps to deal with, what some have called, the contrasty
nature of Konica, by giving plenty of exposure, then using a reduced
developement (Kodak TMax developer at a dilution of 1:15 for 8 minutes at 75
degrees in a Jobo processor) to get a very smooth tonal range with no
contrast problem at all. I'm sure many other developers would work just as
well, but the key is to give sufficient exposure and minimal development. I
am a strong advocate of bracketting exposure and development until you get a
combination that gives you the print qualities you want.
While I do not have any images on the web to point to, a while back I
offered to send a group of infrared stereo cards to anyone who was
interested. This box is still in the process of going around, but I will be
happy to put anyone on the list who would like to see it.
