I would say function first and the art is in making it that way...you
appreciate the
balance and simplicity that goes into something like a Tizio lamp by
Artemide.
As to the fact that art is sold and jokes have to be free....that is one of
the seven
great mysteries of the dark ages.  I have visted many universities and the
favorite
color is grey...there is no escape.  Penn State has 80,000 students
learning
the value
of a grey world and how to make it better.  Chuck Andrew....please don't
throw
me out of this group....just because you are doing Infrared in the
basement.
