For the EIR, you might start at EI 200 and work around that exposure value.
As far as HIE is concerned, you can shoot it at many exposure index values. I
generally use EI 250 as a starting point, when metered through a #25 filter.
As you will see, the film is quite versitile and you will get differing results
with differing exposure index values, so select the one that corresponds to
your vision.
