Anyone considering UV-optics should first read Rolland Elliot's notes
on Nikon M39 enlarger lenses....oddly enough, these are *officially*
corrected well into UV (forgot about the IR correction, but it wasn't
UV-only I believe):

Perhaps these Takumar's indeed belong in the hands of collectors
only....that way we might not be as upset about price either....there
are cheaper solutions for actual UV photography, no need to fight
with collectors....;-))
