Re: White spots

I think the imaging solution has to be electronic and I am really wondering
about
CCD and CMOS devices using the proper lenses....I think it has already been
done with Sony's Night Shot Video Camera, but Kodak has a line of scientific
cameras that are mentioned in Digital Imaging. I was just playing around
with
my passive IR detector that turns on lights and if you hold up a piece of
glass
then it will not function, so what about IR film in cameras that use cheap
plastic
lenses? I am taking apart a CCD line scanner used for copying today and
replacing the glass with plastic to see what a scan of my hand would look
like.
Of couse, all this may be off the subject since my interest is in seeing
microvascular circulation in medical applications that are related to it.
It would
be great if a $200.00 scanner could provide useful information on the
circulation
system...a dream. Chuck
