White spots

Karl said that
"If you have a very stable hand you can always take a _fine_ red felt
tipped pen, preferably water based, and 'spot' the pinholes out on the
negative - at least in the highlights (the darkest bits).

The benefit of spotting with a red pen as opposed to black is that you can
see where you've spotted if you need to wash off the ink because you made a
mistake. This is obviously a lot easier with 4x5 and 120 film than 35mm,
but it can be done."

Thanks for the advice. I have not think to use red. It is really helpful.
The only problem is that spots are quite small and it would be hard to
process. Nevertheless for big spots I will try. Stan Patz recommended to go
digital which is quite applicable. That is to say if there happens to be a
must picture with spots, going digital is the most logical solution.

Regards,

Ibrahim
