Introduction (G'day)

G'day everyone,
My name is Kevin Lee and I work and reside in Sydney, Australia. I am a keen amateur photographer and have been involved in IR for about 5 years now. I am an engineer in the telecommunications industry in my normal working life. Photography has been my hobby for almost 20 years and I shoot mostly colour slide and B&W. With the abundance of natural wonders in this vast and remote country, I shoot predominantly landscapes (from the mountains to the sea).
I like using Velvia for most of my colour work.
I have used HIE (my favourite B&W IR) and have also used the SFX and Konica extended red sensitive films. All have their place for mine. I use a #25 with HIE, although I will get a 87C one day (what are your prices for 52mm and 58mm 87C filters WJM to Aust?) and I use combinations of orange and red filters with the extended red films. I use Agfa products for most of my normal B&W work, but print on good fiber based paper like the old Galerie. I strictly used HC110 for HIE. Anyone know the smallest plastic bottle sized offering one can get in Australia?
I shoot predominantly 35mm and 6x7 but have been eyeing a 4x5 or 8x10 field camera, which I could transport easily when I travel. I haven't used HIE in roll film yet, although I have noticed that some guy in the US is converting 70mm HIE into roll film.
I was on this IR list about 3-4 years ago, but have had many distractions in life which have tempered my full relishing for this fantastic hobby. I know I am going to learn much from many seasoned pros and pro amateurs, many of which are pioneers in IR.
Ooroo!
Kev
