What about Acufine?

I've noticed the postings on trying to make D-76 into a high-acutance 
developer.  Why not just use Acufine, already a high-acutance one?  Now that 
my 70mm setup is done, I'm going to start shooting and testing HSIR 
soon.......and intend to do my developing with Acufine, which has served me 
well with most other films (but I use HC-110 on Techpan, and may try it on 
the IR, too)
