I believe Kodak Switzerland can still process EI in E-4/AE-4(?), just 
like they can still process Kodachrome 120....and I believe the same 
holds true for a private lab in the UK.
I too have a brick of EI laying in my freezer....old confection, 
135-20 I believe....8-))
(did cartridges ever come in other lengths?....I believe old 
IR-black&white (before the era of 'highspeed') also came in this 
length, then with a paper leader, to avoid fogging & 
darkroom-handling (less speed, and less IR-sensitivity)
