I have a feeling that you will find it more than just a little difficult to get
AR-5 processing done.  I believe that there are only two places in the US that
offer this, so it isn't exactly the sort of thing that the local drug store can
handle.

I don't believe that you can compare this film and the older version.  To do
this would require that you process both under E4 (or AR-5).  Kodak says that
E4 would be necessary for scientific use, but E6 should suit the purposes of
the typical hobby shooter (most of us).  There will necessarily be some major
differences.
