You can also use a Wratten #25, which is only slightly lighter and (at
least in Europe) much easier to get than a #29. As a starting point, I'd
suggest ISO 50, metering through the filter.

The new MACO IR 820c (not available yet...) may also be a good film to
use with your EOS. At least the prototype wasn't fogged by my EOS 500N
(= US Rebel XS).
