Russ,

I sincerely hope that he is wrong about this. The film is made once a year
and usually has a Feb or March date on the film pack. I know for a fact
that Konica had a production run this year as they have a batch of 750IR
which has an expiry date of Feb 2001. The film has a dafe shelf life of 1
year - in a fridge or freezer it would be a lot longer..... most retailers
keep the film cool.

I tried to persuade Konica to put something in writing about the film in
the same way that Kodak did when I requested clarification of the
situation. Konica refused to do this so my guess is that the decision to
manufacture the film is taken annually.

What does this mean for us? The answer is simple - buy the film and use
it, or lose it........

It would be a shame to lose the option of choice between the two currently
available black & white 120 roll infrared films, Konica and Maco.

All the best,
