I also sometimes use an EOS 10 and SFX filter and develop in ID11 or
HC-110 using Kodak's recommendations.  I find I get pretty good results
(well, always printable!) from the Kodak film by metering WITHOUT the
filter and setting the speed at ISO 25.  Although that's Scottish light
rather than English light - but it might work for you, also!
