I  can't recall the exact length of the rolls, they may have only had 100' in
stock.
He was quoting his director of photography, so something may have been lost in
the translation. He's the guy who won an academy award a few years ago for the
documentary "Hearts of Darkness", so I assume he knows something or can afford
to pay somebody who does. In any case, the HIE motion picture segments looked
great and are worth the video rental price.
