To confuse matters further, professional cinematographers talk in 
35mm feet or 16mm feet ... and they are not the same. So if a 
cinematographer quoted the roll length it's anyone's guess which he 
really meant.

Incidentally: a Sony PC7 (not a night-shot) with a Hoya R72 opaque 
filter works fine for infrared. See on the web site (thanks to 
Spearmint for the plug).
