Yes the frequency of IR is lower than normal light (longer waves, same 
speed = fewer waves per time period) but I can't find the word frequency on 
this page or the next 2 principles pages..???  My guess is he's read this 
on another page that linked to yours, read your page and then sent the 
message. It happens now and then.
