Intro/Bio

Name:Heather

- Profession/Study: Photographer/artist

- Country:USA

- Personal history of photography: I have been shooting B&W for about10
years now, and doing hand tinting/painting to enhance them for the past
6 of those years. Although I love the look of B&W, I just cant seem to
leave the finished image alone and not add something to it. I have done
mixed media, and 3D effects to my images also.
I am very involved in the arts in my area, and show my work locally in
galleries and also in a few galleries in San Diego.
I am self taught in all the photo work that I have done. Yesterday I
developed my first ever roll of IR and found that....I need help! I am
in hopes that this list will help me to learn from the mistakes I have
made, and I can move on to getting the visions that are in my head,
successfully onto the IR film and printed.

- Preferred subjects:I love a "Romantic" or "heart tugging" scene. I
like to shoot in graveyards, also work with flowers, and some nudes. My
true passion is the work I have done with my dalmatian. I have been
training him as a photo model since he was 4 months old (he is now 4)
Together we have done a children's book entitled "Barking Up The Family
Tree" the books illustrations are all hand tinted B&W photos, done along
the lines of William Wegmans work.

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):On my first attempt here
with IR, I used the Kodak IR film with a red filter, and had the
processing done by a reputable B&W lab

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format): 35mm

- Other strange hobbies:besides photography, I spend alot of time doing
dog related activities, obedience training, agility, and dog shows, and
also am the president of the Socal Durango Owners Club, which is a
chapter of a national group of Dodges SUV the Durango.

- How did you find out about this list: I asked Jeves ;D
