I have made a lot of slides from my bw negs.
There is a verry easy way to do this.
I use a Bowens Illumtran.
It is strobe and a meter which you would have to zero in with tests for the film you
are using. You can than bracket your exposer and pick the slide you want.
It is fast cheap and you do not lose the neg. If you do a reversal you just have
the reversal this way you have your slide and you still make a print.
As I need to make enlarged negs for allt-pross I use the slide.
There a lot of illumtran around used.Once you zero in it is very easy

Kodak Technical Pan developed in D-76 for 12 minutes at 20 degrees celsius
seemed to work fine in an experiment I did recently with the intent of
transfering old B&W negs to slides. But for new images I would prefer to
use a direct positive process. Both for general convenience and because
dust is a problem when copying negatives.
