There are a couple of solutions.  One would be to advance your lens 1/4% of its
focal length.  Easier said than done. <g>

The other is simply to close down a bit.  As long as you are not shooting close
and not using a long lens, stopping down to about f8 or f11 should give you
enough depth of field to correct most focusing errors.

depending on the lens you are using, there is an IR mark on it. at the center of the barrel, you should see a focus mark. to the left of that is an IR mark. depending on the lens, the IR mark will be red, or you will see a white dot and a white line to the left of the usual focus point that white line is your IR focus mark.

to use autofocus with IR, stop down to f8 or so, on most lenses that encompasses the IR focus point.

or shoot with color.

there is no IR focusing mark on the body. any body.
