RE: Filter question.

Hello clive,

I have found it and it is very clear that my B+W filter matches a wratten 29
filter. It is slightly "darker" filter but it is useble with al the films i
want to test. There are darker filters but those are probaly not much usfull
with films as ilford SFX.

I have printed the whole version out and will read it in the quiet ours.

Thanks
Gerard

Hello Gerard,

The answers to all of your questions are in the Infrared FAQ, and
hopefully written in a way that is easy to read :-) The Infrared FAQ
is located on the CoCam website.

                  http://www.cocam.co.uk

You will have an increased "IR-effect" if you use an opaque infrared
filter such as the #89B, #88A, or #87 Wratten rated filters with
Kodak HIE. Ilford SFX is an extended red sensitive film and is best
used with a #25 red filter. True infrared filters will result in very
long exposure times and very high contrast - if you get anything at
all on the film :-)
