Re: Brand 17 4x5 camera

I realize this is off subject and not really an infrared question, but
having heard many 4x5 camera related discussions here I figured I'd give
it a shot. I'm wondering if anyone has any knowledge of a 4x5 camera by
the name "Brand 17"?  It was manufactured in Los Angeles, CA I believe.
I'm just curious if anyone knows anything about this brand, if indeed
the company is still around, and if not, how hard is it to come accross
parts etc for it. Also, I'm assuming that 4x5 film holders are for the
most part universal regardless of camera type? Is that a correct
assumption? Sorry to bombard you with my ignorance in this department
