Keep in mind that Rodinal will give you markedly different results than D76 (I
have no experience with Ilfotec HC).  As Rodinal does not do anything with the
grain clusters, you will get exceptionally grainy negatives.  Of course, this
may be what you are looking for, in which case you won't find a better
developer for this.

I would recommend that you investigate Xtol.  I used to use D76 and switched to
Xtol for the development of my medium/fast speed film.  I am quite satisfied
with it and have experienced no problems.
