Nikon 8008 and HIE

I just recently picked up a used Nikon 8008s/F801s and would like to 
hear from list contributers about its ability to handle Kodak HIE 
without fogging by internal focus sensors.
I assume it's a s IR safe as Nikon's other SLR bodies.
