I have shot the MACO film at 16 asa, using an hand held exposure meter
set on 16 asa. Used the meters speed and f-stop on my camera with a 70
red filter, a filter through which you can just compose your picture. As
Jaap said; you do need a tripod with this film, but my results with this
film are realy nice: not much grain, nice IR effect and although there
is supposingly an anti-halo layer I still obtained nice halo effects.
Not so much as with HIE though. The only problem I have with the MACO
film is its low speed, but as long there is still HIE it is not a big
problem.
