Keith, this has been dealt with by many people before. If you are sure you are
getting marks from the perforations (quite a few people don't) simply cover the
pressure plate with 120 backing paper or adhesive backed vinyl from a hobby
shop. There have been other solutions offered.  Check the FAQ.  The link is at
the bottom of your message.
