not *really* meaning to come off as an "anti-techno" on this
inconsistency of metering via myriad in-camera meters - but :
try just shooting some HIE as described in the inserted literature
- nice bright day w/ puffy clouds and sun behind you (some time
other than high-noon)
- w/ a #25red shoot at f11 @1/125th for scenics
- w/ a #87ir give another stop exposure ( @1/60th )
- w/ a #87c give another 2+ stops ( @1/30th to 1/15th )
