Still a some HIS here in the U.K. As of last week Kodak UK had about 40
boxes in their central warehouse. I have just received 10 of these boxes
(Best Before date is 06/2001) but as far as I understand once it gone that
will be it. It's a great shame as it is excellent film and there is no real
replacement for our work here, but I understand why it's been done and to be
honest I am surprised it has not been cut before now.

I note from Kodak's data sheet that the roll films are 4 mil
Estar, but the
4x5 sheet film is 7mil. I wonder if this has any effect on
the amount and
appearance of halation. And if there's any of the Kodak 4x5
around?
