With the Konica and other Infrared films, there is not real conpansation 
needed with red filters.

I shoot the Konica at EI 40 with a red 29 filter.
I send it out to a local lab and they process it same as  Plus-X.  The negs 
are somewhat dense, but print well and give a little more glow so it looks a 
little more like the Kodak HIE.
