Greetings,

I've browsed this list for a while, and decided it's time to become a 
full-fledged member. He's my bio:

-Who:

   Larry Sabo, retired, living in Canada

- Personal history of photography:

   Amateur off and on for past 30 yrs using Canon FTb, now into digital and 
enthusiastic about infrared

- Preferred subjects:  Nature

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):

   Canon PowerShot Pro70 w/#89B. I just starting to use Minolta X-7A, HIE, 
#25A and bought a used HP PhotoSmart scanner this week.

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format):

   35

- Other strange hobbies:

   Repair computer monitors for pin money, and to keep me out of the wife's 
hair. :o)

   rec.photo.digital, I believe

Sure wish I could duplicate HIE's glow and grain using my digicam and 
PhotoPaint.
