Thanks for the welcome and suggestions, Phil. Unfortunately, the Canon
Pro70 doesn't have a gain adjustment, but I can add Gaussian noise to
simulate the grain easily enough. It's the glow that's challenging. I've
tried creating a second layer from the image, adding Gaussian blur, then
combining with the background using 50% opacity and "If brighter." Ben
Kreunen's process is similar but *far* more effective. I'm still new to
PhotoPaint, but will try again, using his process.
