HIE in d-76?

Anyone have a rec on dev time for HIE, I know the Kodak rec is
not the best.

I currently have D76, Rodinal and TMAX fresh and at hand...
I heard Rodinal was a little grainy...
I keep my darkroom at 68 degrees, so that is always my dev temp.

I guess my questions are as follows...
1.  is 68 deg. too low ( I know it is on the charts, but I always see 75 as
recmded)?
2.  Best developer, time and temp for HIE?

On a side note, I developed a couple rolls of 120 TMAX100 in D76 1:1 (which
I guessed meant one part stock and one part water!) at 68 degrees for 10min,
30 secs.  They were rolls of my little girls out in the summer sun.  I was
very pleased with the results.  Negs were right on on density, skin tones
are buttery and smooth.   I am going to do a couple more tonight in Tmax
dev, what should I expect to see different?  Any recs on dev times?  Do I
just mix it according to the directions and use it straight???... or do I
dilute it??
