Bio
Cyndi Barker
Degree in Fine Arts, studies in photography at various colleges
USA
Have studied in many forms of alternative photography such as palladium
printing, pinhole camera photography, infrared, etc. Haven't done much in the
last few years and just got darkroom set up in my house. Have teenage son who
is interested and want to work with him in the darkroom.
preferred subjects: people, spontaneous, surreal. Like toy-camera photography
a lot.
materials: have fogotten most of the technical stuff so right now I don't care
Other strange hobbies: art, church singles activities, collecting 45's and
odd books
How heard: from guy at The Camera Shop in Arlington, TX
At one time, I did a lot of hand-made book making and did a lot of infrared
photography for those as well. I want to get back iknto infrared but don't
remember much and my notes are probably in the stomachs of rats in my attic.
What is a good starting point?
ASA, 400 for ttm exposure?
with 87 filter, starting exposure time?
D-76 ok?
Can I use an automatic camera - Pentax, palm size - if I turn off the
date-stamp feature or are there other things that will fog the film?
