- Name: Andy Finney

- Profession/Study: Multimedia developer, producer and consultant

- Country: UK (England to be precise)

- Personal history of photography
    - preferred subjects: landscapes, buildings

    - materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): For colour I use either
Kodak (Gold 200 or Ektar 100) or Fuji (XG 200, sometimes exposed at 100 for
contrast). Developing is done by Boots the Chemist (you guys in the UK
will know who I mean) ... after all it's only the negs that matter. My IR
is almost all Kodak, but I've just shot a roll of Konika (and yes ... I did
hand hold it) but I haven't seen the results yet. My mate Trevor White in
Milton Keynes D&Ps them for me and does a great dodge and burn on the
prints. Examples on the web site http://www.demon.co.uk/atsf/ilight/

    - format (35mm/medium format/large format): 35mm but I'd love to try a
really big format panoramic with IR. My current camera are a Nikon F90 and
a Nikon FM2. I even found a PC lens second-hand, although I haven't used
it for IR as yet. I used to shoot 8mm with a Bolex C8 ... but we were so
much older then ... and had a Minolta XRT 101 for a long time. That got
traded in to help me buy the F90.

- Other strange hobbies: British stamps, computing, folk/blues guitar,
Fullers beer.

- How did you find out about this list: Willem invited me along.

- Expand on anything photographic you like:

Maybe more in time ... but for the moment ...

I telephoned the publishers of Joseph Paduano's book 'The Art of Infrared
Photography' (Amherst Media +1 716 874 4450) to ask if the book was still
available so I could say something about it on the web site. They say that
it is currently out of print but that a new, revised, bigger, better (etc)
edition will be published in the Fall (that's Autumn to us Brits).
However, they also publish:

Infrared Nude Photography - Joseph Paduano - ISBN 0-936-262-109 - $19.95
The Infrared Handbook - Laurie White - ISBN 0-936-262-389 - $24.95

Are there any other books in this territory or have these people cornered
the market? I will try to get copies and review them.
