f?

Hello,

This might be a basic question, but here it goes.

I know that infrared light is prone to severe diffraction so I try
to avoid f stops of 16 & 22. My question is what f stop will help
correct the diffraction problem? f/8 ?

Thanks in advance,

Daniel
