Nikon Coolpix digitals and IR

A short time back, someone posted results of some testing he did with
the Nikon series of digitals. I can't for the life of me find the posts.
Could this gentleman please post the results again? I'm in the market
for a digital (gasp!  :=) camera, and if I'm going to get one, it might
as well be IR capable as well, hopefully without modifications to the
camera itself. Thanks for any help!
