Hi all! I'm new to this list and sort of new to IR photography - I once shot a
roll of Kodak IR around 1974. I've been doing my own B&W processing for 40
years and have recently been reading everything I could find on the net about
IR photography. The IR Handbook is on order and should arrive by Wednesday.
Meanwhile, I have been searching for a starting time for development tests.
Here is what I usually use for regular B&W films, using different times for
different films of course:
Jobo CPE-2, 75 Farenheit, Kodak Xtol 1:2 dilution.
I would like to process Ilford SFX 200 in 120 format, rated at 200.
I have called Kodak who publishes Xtol rotary processing times for most
popular films, but nothing on SFX. I searched Ilford and Jobo websites, and
just sent an Email to Jobo. So far I haven't found anything that would give me
a starting place for establishing a development time. Any help would be much
appreciated. TIA!-Fred
