Chris, the film does not contain an anti-halation layer. However, because it
contains 2 color emulsion layers, plus an infrared layer, the IR layer is
protected by the color emulsion layers, allowing you to load & unload the
film in normal light, as with any ''normal" film. Trust me on this- I've shot
over 400 rolls of EIR & never loaded or unloaded in total darkness & never
had a problem with fogging from light piping.
