With AR-5 the contrast is lessened and the colors are more accurate. However,
processing via AR-5 is - to put it gently - a pain in the ol' posterior. The
formula is akin to the E-4 process. At one time I had the E-4 formula, but
I'll bet that I can't find it now.
There are only a couple of places in the US that will do this processing for
customers, and the $20 or so charge to do this is understandable.
I don't think that you can modify the E-6 formula to simulate AR-5/E-4, but
would certainly listen to anyone who has done this.
