I have an R72 which I have used with the SFX 200 (because a #87 just won't
work), but with the Konica, I find a significantly nicer Wood + other effect
with the 87. I don't mind the low ASA, as I meter, hand-held, through the
filter. I'm not too sure of the effective ASA, but I think it's about 6
stops below my meter setting of 50 ASA. I've found that for landscape work,
I have no problem with the Hassy at f/11 or even f/16 (I know, I know,
diffraction, etc.) with MLU-equivalent and exposures often as long as 30
secs. A slight breeze can also induce a bit of leaf movement which can give
a pseudo halation effect. Try it, you'll like it.
