RE: EIR through AR-5

Phil,
I have had the lab do a couple of pull processes on EIR (1/2 and 1 stops if
I remember) but it had little effect on the end results. The AR-5 gives not
only less contrast/saturation but a whole new range of colours.
One of the pigments that were photographed looked red/magenta under E6 but
AR-5 made it go this nice plum colour. I will obviously know more once I've
tried it outside, but my initial feeling is it will work well if I can
afford to use it !
Jason
The question I pose is this:
Have you ever asked your lab to pull process by about 1/2
stop?
If so, how do they compare with AR5?
