That's why it was so exciting when Kodak came out with a color IR that
could be processed E-6, instead of E-4 or AR-5. It's unfortunately true
that pro labs vary not only in quality, but in a sense of photographic
history. But, here is a link to a place in Denver that will do AR-5
processing (also E-4). They are not cheap, but they specialize in
orphaned photo processes - they often cook their own chemicals. So, if
you want to use your birthday money to see what AR-5 processing is like
